Job summary

Altium Packaging in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Quality Technician to audit, test and measure finished goods to ensure customer standards are met while upholding GMP.

You will apply statistical tools, perform lab tests, conduct incoming and in-process inspections, report issues to shift leaders, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives; occasional overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; 1 year related experience preferred.
• ASQ certification (or equivalent) preferred.
• Knowledge of basic statistics and metrology concepts.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines; strong computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Audit, test and measure finished goods to ensure customer standards.
• Apply GMP policies and corporate/plant safety standards.
• Use statistical tools to monitor plant performance.
• Complete laboratory testing and collect samples at set intervals.
• Perform in-process inspections during molding, packaging and loading.
• Report quality issues to shift leaders and management.
• Support process improvements and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Conduct incoming inspection of raw materials and dimensional checks.

Location Address:4239 N 39th Avenue, Phoenix, Arizona 85019Work Shift:12hr - A Shift 7a-7:30p Phoenix (United States of America)The Quality Technician will audit, test and measure finished goods to ensure customer standards are met as well as follow our company's Good Manufacturing Practices.JOB SUMMARY:The Quality Technician will audit, test and measure finished goods to ensure customer standards are met as well as follow our company's Good Manufacturing Practices.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Ensure compliance with corporate and plant safety standards and with applicable laws and regulations issued by regulatory agencies.Apply statistical tools and techniques to monitor plant performance and finished goods.Complete laboratory testing and collect samples at established intervals.Continually seek process improvements and make recommendations to management.Audit compliance with GMP policies.Performs process inspections during molding, packaging and loading.Audit for compliance to control plan requirements including process parameters.Perform incoming inspection of raw materials.Complete dimensional checks and report on product.Perform in-process inspections of manufactured product during molding, packaging and loading.Perform cycle counts and/or inventory of finished goods as required.Communicate quality issues and out of specifications conditions to appropriate personnel and with shift leaders.Other duties as assigned by management.Reasonable mandatory overtime may be required due to business needs.Qualifications:The requirements listed below are minimum requirements for the job.
