Job summary

Altium Packaging is hiring a Quality Technician in Phoenix, AZ to audit, test and measure finished goods ensuring adherence to customer standards. The role follows GMP practices and supports continuous improvement across molding, packaging and loading processes.

The candidate will perform laboratory tests, collect samples, inspect raw materials, and communicate issues to shift leaders. A high school diploma and 1 year of related experience are required; ASQ certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of related experience preferred.
• ASQ certification or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to apply basic statistical methods and GMP concepts.

Responsibilities

• Audit, test and measure finished goods to ensure customer standards.
• Apply GMP policies and maintain safety standards.
• Use statistical tools to monitor plant performance.
• Complete laboratory testing and collect samples at intervals.
• Perform process inspections during molding, packaging and loading.
• Inspect incoming raw materials and report deviations.
• Conduct cycle counts of finished goods and inventory as needed.
• Report quality issues to management and shift leaders.
• Assist with continuous improvement initiatives.
• Overtime may be required due to business needs.

Location Address:4239 N 39th Avenue, Phoenix, Arizona 85019Work Shift:12hr - C Shift 7a-7:30p Phoenix (United States of America)The Quality Technician will audit, test and measure finished goods to ensure customer standards are met as well as follow our company's Good Manufacturing Practices.JOB SUMMARY:The Quality Technician will audit, test and measure finished goods to ensure customer standards are met as well as follow our company's Good Manufacturing Practices.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Ensure compliance with corporate and plant safety standards and with applicable laws and regulations issued by regulatory agencies.Apply statistical tools and techniques to monitor plant performance and finished goods.Complete laboratory testing and collect samples at established intervals.Continually seek process improvements and make recommendations to management.Audit compliance with GMP policies.Performs process inspections during molding, packaging and loading.Audit for compliance to control plan requirements including process parameters.Perform incoming inspection of raw materials.Complete dimensional checks and report on product.Perform in-process inspections of manufactured product during molding, packaging and loading.Perform cycle counts and/or inventory of finished goods as required.Communicate quality issues and out of specifications conditions to appropriate personnel and with shift leaders.Other duties as assigned by management.Reasonable mandatory overtime may be required due to business needs.Qualifications:The requirements listed below are minimum requirements for the job.
