Job summary

SRCTec, LLC seeks an Associate Quality Technician for 2nd shift in Syracuse, NY. You will perform manual quality inspections on components, assemblies, and finished products, support quality control, and contribute to 6S audits to ensure compliance with standards.

You will collaborate with engineering and production, identify trends, and participate in process improvements while maintaining safety and quality focus. A high school diploma and 5+ years of related experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years of related experience; electronics manufacturing background preferred.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Strong safety, quality, and communication skills.
• Good computer software skills and ability to learn new software.
• Ability to lift/move 40 pounds with or without accommodations.
• Excellent work ethic and habit of excellence.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual quality inspections on components, assemblies, and finished products.
• Support Quality Control as the first line of escalation with timely, accurate decisions.
• Identify failure trends and escalated systemic issues to improve quality and efficiency.
• Verify equipment setup to ensure compliance with specs and quality standards.
• Provide training and support to manufacturing and quality personnel.
• Collaborate with engineering and production to resolve quality issues via corrective action.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and improved quality.
• Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices in quality control.
