Job summary

AriensCo in Brillion, WI is seeking a hands-on Quality Technician to inspect, audit and test product and processes, ensuring design specs, customer expectations and regulatory requirements are met. You will work closely with production and engineering to drive continuous improvement and maintain traceability.

This role starts at $22/hour with a Monday-Thursday 4x10 schedule (4:30 AM–2:30 PM). Candidates must be able to read drawings, use gauges and measurement tools, and communicate findings

Qualifications

  • Experience performing inspections, audits, and testing to verify quality standards.
  • Ability to interpret drawings and GD&T characteristics.
  • Proficient with measurement tools and data analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Perform process audits, product inspections, testing, and dimensional measurements
  • Identify, document, contain, and process nonconforming material per procedure
  • Support production floor troubleshooting and help resolve quality-related issues
  • Participate in root cause analysis and corrective actions (8D, 5-Why, Fishbone)
  • Collect, analyze, and report quality data to support decision-making and continuous improvement
  • Perform inspections using gauges, measuring tools, prints, CAD models, and test methods
  • Maintain accurate inspection records, quality documentation, and traceability requirements
  • Support process control and risk reduction activities (e.g., SPC, audits)
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and cross-functional teams to support operational excellence

Job Description:

AriensCo is looking for a Quality Technician to join our team in Brillion, WI! In this hands‑on role, you'll play a key part in ensuring our products and manufacturing processes consistently meet design specifications, customer expectations, and regulatory requirements. You'll perform inspections, audits, testing, and measurement activities to verify quality standards, identify nonconforming materials, and support corrective actions that drive continuous improvement. Working closely with production and engineering teams, you'll help enhance process capability, reduce risk, and ensure the high level of quality our customers expect from AriensCo. Pay: Starts at $22/hour

Schedule & Shift: Monday - Thursday (4 days x 10 hours); 4:30AM-2:30PM

THE DAY TO DAY...
  • Perform process audits, product inspections, testing, and dimensional measurements
  • Identify, document, contain, and process nonconforming material per procedure
  • Support production floor troubleshooting and help resolve quality‑related issues impacting safety, quality, delivery, or productivity
  • Participate in root cause analysis and corrective actions (e.g., 8D, 5-Why, Fishbone)
  • Collect, analyze, and report quality data to support decision‑making and continuous improvement
  • Perform inspections using gauges, measuring tools, prints, CAD models, and test methods
  • Maintain accurate inspection records, quality documentation, and traceability requirements
  • Support process control and risk reduction activities (e.g., SPC, audits)
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and cross‑functional teams to support operational excellence
THE QUALIFICATIONS...
  • Proficient with calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other measurement tools; able to select appropriate methods and perform basic conversions and calculations
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and understand GD&T basics, including critical, major, and minor characteristics and Cpk
  • Experience with root cause and corrective action tools (5-Why, Fishbone, CAPA/8D)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel preferred) and QMS systems
  • Ability to detect defects and ensure compliance to specifications
  • Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and support root cause analysis; understanding of traceability and calibration requirements.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for reporting and cross‑functional collaboration
