Job description

Quality Technician - 1st Shift

Pay:$20/hr+ (based on experience)

Shift: Mon-Fri (7am to 3:30pm)

Description:

• Cannonball Recruiting is seeking aQuality Technician to ensure that all quality standards are met daily according to the Quality Policy. Troubleshooting why a product did not meet quality specifications and implementing processes and procedures to meet specifications.

Requirements:

• Proven background in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work unsupervised and in a fast-paced environment.
• Thorough knowledge of blueprints.
• Proven problem solving and leadership skills.
• Understanding measuring devices and techniques.
• Knowledge of inspection codes.
• Proactive approach to all duties.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to stand for long periods at a time and ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Responsibilities:

• Participate in performing in-house calibrations on all tools used in the production area.
• Participate in managing the calibration system.
• Conduct internal audits and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Participate in problem solving activities, as assigned.
• Conduct first article inspections.
• Assist in writing work instructions and inspection criteria.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
