TRAC Tire Services is now hiring Retread Techs for 1st shift to operate various machinery within our plant located in Florence, KY.

1st Shift up to $21.75 an hour

FIRST SHIFT ROTATING SCHEDULE:

6:00AM to 4:30PM; 4x10 hour days, Monday through Friday, with one rotating weekday off, plus weekends off. (OT as needed)

Summary:

The Retread Technician will perform all aspects of the commercial tire retreading process and quality control. The process includes receiving old tires, inspecting them, buffing off old tread, applying new tread with specialized machinery, curing in a chamber, and final inspection.

This role requires high quality control at each stage. Cross-training will be provided across multiple stations.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure station cleanliness, proper stocking, and equipment functionality before and after shifts
• Meet or exceed daily metrics (tires inspected, tubes pulled, etc.)
• Work effectively in a team; may be asked to work multiple positions to meet goals
• Maintain logs and tracking spreadsheets
• Arrive on time and consistently to ensure shift productivity
• Identify hazardous materials and use proper PPE and procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment, hot in summer, cold in winter
• Frequent bending, twisting, and lifting objects over 50-100 pounds; using over 100 pounds of pressure to push tires
• Ability to stand for long periods, perform repetitive motions, handle awkward postures, and vibrations
• Knowledge of Commercial Tires is preferred
• Pass pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check
• Must be 18+ years old
