JOB SUMMARY:

The Quality Technician position is accountable for leading and managing effective day-to-day quality by inspecting all incoming and outgoing products for defects to ensure quality products.

PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • - Inspection of incoming and/or outgoing products for defects.
  • - Inspect product for accuracy, consistency, and finish quality, as needed.
  • - Communicate defects to necessary personnel.
  • - Repair cabinetry component defects when applicable.
  • - Communicate with various departments and personnel.
  • - Complete any necessary documentation and paperwork.
  • - Maintain production and quality standards.
  • - Follow all safety rules and work instructions.
  • - Perform all duties in a safe manner.
  • - Performs other duties as assigned by management.
  • - May rotate to other departments and duties as needed.
  • - Communicate with employees on a regular basis.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
  • - Must have strong color vision with the ability to accurately distinguish subtle variations in color.
  • - Ability to read a tape measure and use it effectively.
  • - Ability to read the move ticket and understand ALL of its contents.
  • - Must have a strong attention to detail.
  • - Ability to work with little direct supervision.
  • - Must have good team work/communication skills.
  • - Identify any specialized equipment used in this job and indicate the daily percent of time spent on each.

Pay Range: $25.00 - $32.50 per hour

Shift: 1st Shift

Job Type: Full Time

Hours: Range From Around 6:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday with occasional Saturday overtime
