Job summary

The Cabinetworks Group facility in Waconia, MN is seeking a Quality Technician to lead day-to-day quality control. You will inspect incoming and outgoing cabinetry parts for defects, verify color accuracy, finish quality and overall workmanship, and communicate issues to the relevant teams.

You will follow safety rules, maintain production and quality standards, and may rotate to other departments as needed. This is a full-time 1st shift role with a comprehensive benefits package.

  • Must have strong color vision.
  • Ability to read a tape measure and use it effectively.
  • Ability to read the move ticket and understand ALL of its contents.
  • Must have a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work with little direct supervision.
  • Must have good team work/communication skills.
  • Identify any specialized equipment used in this job and indicate the daily percent of time spent on each.

JOB SUMMARY

The Quality Technician position is accountable for leading and managing effective day-to-day quality by inspecting all incoming and outgoing products for defects to ensure quality products.

PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Inspection of incoming and/or outgoing products for defects.
  • Inspect product for accuracy, consistency, and finish quality, as needed.
  • Communicate defects to necessary personnel.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

Pay Range: $25.00 - $32.50 per hour

Shift: 1st Shift

Job Type: Full Time

Hours: Range From Around 6:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday with occasional Saturday overtime
