OEM Fabricators, Inc. an ISO certified company and manufacturer of the year award winner, is a full-service custom job shop that is looking to hire skilled Quality Technician at our Woodville facility. Currently we have an opening on 1st shift. 1st shift runs Monday-Thursday 6 am- 4:30 pm.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Technician to join our team in Woodville, WI. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring our products meet rigorous quality standards through inspection, documentation, and process improvement. The ideal candidate has a strong mechanical aptitude, familiarity with quality systems, and a passion for continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

Perform in-process, final, and incoming inspections of fabricated components and assemblies using precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, CMMs).

Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions to verify product compliance.

Accurately document inspection results and non-conformances; initiate corrective action reports as needed.

Support quality control procedures and assist in audits and process validations.

Collaborate with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues and drive process improvements.

Maintain calibration records for inspection tools and equipment.

Assist in the development and implementation of quality standards and work instructions.

Promote a culture of safety and quality throughout the organization.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in manufacturing, quality, or related field preferred.

2+ years of experience in a quality assurance/inspection role in a manufacturing environment.

Strong knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) and blueprint reading.

Proficient with common measurement tools and inspection equipment.

Experience with ISO 9001 or similar quality systems is a plus.

Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Familiarity with ERP and quality management software is beneficial.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand or walk for extended periods.

Comfortable working in a manufacturing setting with exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures.
