Quality Technician - Major Job Functions & Duties:

The Quality Technician is responsible for in-process inspections, testing, calibration of QA equipment, documentation, sampling, and quarantining non-conforming materials. Key responsibilities include:

• Understanding and applying quality assurance specifications, test procedures, blueprints, and engineering specifications
• Performing incoming and in-process inspections
• Documenting test results and inspection findings
• Segregating and labeling non-conforming products, notifying management
• Maintaining quality records and communicating findings effectively
• Assembling job books for production and performing quality inspections

Wage & Hours:

• $20-$24/hour based on experience
• $2/hour shift premium for third shift
• Third shift: Sunday - Thursday, 10 PM - 6 AM

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2-5 years manufacturing experience preferred
• Experience with SQF certification and testing equipment preferred
• Ability to read and utilize measuring tools (tape measure, calipers, etc.)
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Keen attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
• Physical demands include bending, carrying, crouching, reaching, pulling, pushing, walking, and keyboarding
