Quality Tech - Major Job Functions & Duties:

Our Quality Technician is responsible for in-process inspection and testing to verify quality. Ensure all QA test equipment is calibrated and functioning properly. Responsible for documentation, sampling, and quarantining non-conforming materials (film/plastic bags). Primary duties include:

• Understanding and using quality assurance specifications, standard test procedures, blueprints/drawings, and other engineering specifications
• Performing incoming inspections of materials and components
• Conducting in-process quality control inspections and documenting results
• Identifying, segregating, and labeling non-conforming products, and notifying management
• Maintaining quality records as per procedures, including test data and retained samples, and communicating findings with relevant personnel
• Assembling job books for production
• Performing quality inspections

Wage:

• $20-$24/hour based on experience
• $2/hour shift premium (for 2nd shift only)

Hours:

• Third Shift: Sunday - Thursday | 10pm - 6am

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Prior experience with SQF certification preferred
• Experience with testing equipment preferred
• Experience reading/measuring tools (tape measure, calipers, etc.)
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Keen attention to detail, good organization, and communication skills
• Physical demands include bending, carrying, crouching, reaching, pulling, pushing, walking, and frequent keyboarding
