Job summary

Xyant Technology, Inc. seeks a detail-oriented Aerospace Quality Technician for a 6-month contract. You will inspect materials, components, and finished goods to ensure compliance with aerospace regulations and support production processes.

You will identify opportunities for continuous improvement to guarantee the reliability of aerospace and defense products, utilizing precision tools, documenting non-conformances, and contributing to CAPA while adhering to ISO 9001/AS9100 standards.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient with blueprints, technical drawings, and precision measurement tools.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 or AS9100 standards.
• Aerospace or defense industry experience, and familiarity with GD&T or SAP.
• Manufacturing environment requiring extended standing.
• Ability to safely lift up to 35 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections on incoming raw materials, in-process parts, and finished goods.
• Use precision tools like calipers, micrometers, and CMM equipment to assess product quality.
• Document results by tracking non-conformances and deviations in designated software.
• Investigate issues by collaborating with cross-functional engineering and manufacturing teams.
• Support quality standards (ISO 9001, AS9100) and participate in root cause analyses (CAPA).
• Audit processes to ensure strict adherence to manufacturing and safety protocols.

1st Shift: 7:00 am – 3:30 pm (flexible with start/end time but 8 hrs/day)

Hourly pay: $25/hr
