Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive inspections, including first-article, in-process, and final evaluations, to guarantee product conformance.
• Interpret complex blueprints and GD&T specifications to verify that parts align with engineering requirements.
• Utilize advanced hand metrology tools such as micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and bore gauges to achieve precise measurements.
• Operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to perform detailed dimensional analysis on critical components.
• Document inspection results and quality data accurately within the ERP system to maintain full traceability.
• Collaborate with production teams to communicate findings, resolve quality discrepancies, and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Required Skills

• Proven experience in mechanical inspection within an aerospace manufacturing environment.
• Strong proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.

Preferred Skills

• Direct experience working within an AS9100 quality management system.
• Prior experience performing First Article Inspections (FAI).
