Job summary

SGB-SMIT USA is seeking a Quality Assurance/Quality Control professional to support manufacturing quality. You will perform inspections, read drawings, and help ensure compliance with specifications and customer requirements.

Ideal candidates have manufacturing experience, basic Microsoft Office skills, and the ability to pass required pre-employment screens. Join a growing team focused on reliable transformer technology and energy transition.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year manufacturing experience, preferably with an ISO Certified company.
• Strong background in Microsoft Software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to read manufacturing drawings.
• Preference for QA/QC/Auditing experience in ISO 9001 certified manufacturing.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and physical; nationwide background check.

Responsibilities

• Maintain quality standards: audit and inspect products and processes.
• Conduct inspections and tests on manufactured products and materials.
• Review blueprints, drawings, and specifications for conformance.
• Identify opportunities to improve production processes and product requirements.
• Keep accurate records of inspections, tests, and quality control activities.

Your tasks:

• Maintain Quality Standards: Conduct frequent audits and inspections of product and processes to ensure quality standards, regulatory and customer requirement compliance.

• Inspection and Testing: Conduct inspections and tests on manufactured products, materials, and equipment to verify compliance with specifications.

• Drawings and Specification Review: Read and interpret blueprints/ drawings and specifications to ensure that production process align with quality standard.

• Recommendations for Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in production processes and product requirements.

• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and quality control processes to assist in root cause and trends.

Your profile:

• High School Diploma or GED Required.

• 1 year manufacturing experience, preferably with an ISO Certified company.

• Strong background in Microsoft Software, (Excel, Word, and Power Point.

• Ability to read manufacturing drawings.

• Preference for a Quality Assurance/ Quality Control/ Quality Auditing experience in ISO 9001 certified manufacturing organization.

• Ability to pass Pre- Employment Drug screen and Physical.

• Ability to pass nationwide background check.
