Quality Technician

Reporting Line

This position reports to the Quality & Operations Excellence Manager.


Role and Responsibilities

In this role, you will support the plant's expanding Quality efforts at the US Motion Headquarters in New Berlin, WI, ensuring positive impacts on safety, quality, delivery, and cost goals. You will report to the Quality/Tactical OpEx Manager and be responsible for production line quality support. The work model is: Onsite.


Main responsibilities include:

  1. Safety: Actively participate in the safety culture by submitting and addressing hazards. Follow all safety rules, regulations, and company policies. Maintain departmental housekeeping standards.
  2. Quality: Contribute to delivering world-class quality by writing work instructions, completing PFMEAs, setting up FAI/inspection criteria, poke-yoke, error proofing, and managing ECNs and CAPAs.
  3. Teamwork: Support team efforts by accomplishing assigned tasks and assisting with other duties to support engineering and operations.
  4. Problem Solving: Support new projects and troubleshoot issues with current production systems.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED plus at least 5 years of manufacturing experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Excel; AutoCAD experience is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and communicate effectively in English.
  • Physical requirements include occasional lifting up to 50 pounds, and frequent bending, squatting, standing, walking, and manual dexterity.
  • Must have valid work authorization for the US.
