Qualifications

Familiar with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) is a plus.

Are you looking for a challenging position with a fast-growing, culture-first company?CS Group is hiring a Quality Technician to enhance our ever-growing team. CS Group is the only beverage manufacturer that does business like we do, and we do it well. This role's hours are7 AM - 3:30 PM,Monday-Friday.

Primary Responsibilities:

Perform quality checks on products and raw materials
Micro-testing of products to ensure microbiological safety and quality
Assist in maintain quality control equipment and lab
Work with the team to implement corrective actions based on testing results
Follow standard operating procedures for Quality/Food Safety Department
Batching small laboratory samples
Conduct microbiological tests on concentrates and juices

Qualifications:

Associate's or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred)
Familiarity with laboratory environment and testing
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Conduct analytical and organoleptic tests on incoming raw materials for manufacturing
Conduct analytical and organoleptic tests on incoming concentrates from our Co-Packers
Analytical testing to include pH, Refractive Index/Brix, and acid titration
Organoleptic testing to include taste, odor, and appearance

Education and/or Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, or Food Science from a four-year college or university; or three to five years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proficient with word processing and spreadsheet applications such as Microsoft Word + Excel.

Preferred:

Experience in a food manufacturing plant
Familiar with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
