Responsibilities & Duties

• Ensure first time quality of machines by following standard quality processes to inspect in-process and finished HMNA machines, with guidance.
• Hold all HMNA associates accountable for machine quality using quality tools such as travelers and quality bulletins.
• Coach HMNA Production associates on standard manufacturing, commissioning, and inspection processes, with guidance.
• Create, maintain, and manage Quality Notifications through standard processes in SAP.
• Work with Quality Engineering personnel to improve HMNA quality processes and standard work.
• Complete quality project activities in collaboration with various HMNA personnel, with guidance.
• Conduct RCCA (Root Cause Corrective Action) investigations on HMNA machines that experienced quality escapes, with guidance.
• Assist Supplier / Customer Quality with standard work as needed, with guidance.

• Knowledge of industry accepted quality practices for industrial equipment.
• Understanding of PPAP fundamentals and application in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of GD&T fundamentals and application.
• Understanding of industrial equipment design, function, and maintenance.
• Proficiency in metrology tools and practices.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Proficient in MS Office programs.
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.
• Excellent communication skills, both technical and layman’s terms.
• Self-motivated and proactive.
• Ability to evaluate trends and develop solutions statistically.
• Strong understanding of quality importance and control.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• 0-5 years of quality experience.
• Education: High School Diploma.
