Job summary

Allegiant Manufacturing in Gallatin, Tennessee, is seeking a Quality Technician to join our team. You will inspect stamped and fabricated metal parts and ensure they meet precise quality standards.

You will read engineering drawings, operate measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and support calibration, audits, and continuous improvement. This role emphasizes accuracy, documentation, and collaboration with production.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Two years of quality inspection, manufacturing, or related experience preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong mathematical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Excellent communication, organization, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections of stamped and fabricated metal parts
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Use measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers, height gages, and specialty gages
• Complete first-piece inspections and dimensional layouts
• Support internal audits and continuous improvement initiatives
• Assist with calibration and maintenance of inspection equipment
• Maintain quality records and documentation
• Support customer quality requirements and PPAP activities

What You'll Do

• Perform inspections of stamped and fabricated metal parts
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications

What We're Looking For

Preferred Qualifications
