Job summary

Allegiant Manufacturing in Gallatin, Tennessee is seeking a Quality Technician to inspect stamped and fabricated metal parts and read engineering drawings. You will use calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and specialty gages while supporting internal audits and continuous improvement initiatives.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, with 2 years’ related experience preferred, and be proficient in reading blueprints.

What You'll Do

• Perform inspections of stamped and fabricated metal parts
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Use measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers, height gages, and specialty gages
• Complete first-piece inspections and dimensional layouts
• Support internal audits and continuous improvement initiatives
• Assist with calibration and maintenance of inspection equipment
• Maintain quality records and documentation
• Support customer quality requirements and PPAP activities

What We're Looking For

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Two years of quality inspection, manufacturing, or related experience preferred
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong mathematical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Excellent communication, organization, and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of GD&T
• Experience with CMMs, 3D scanning, and PolyWorks
• Internal auditing experience
• Manufacturing quality systems experience

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the workday
• Ability to work in both office and manufacturing environments
