Job summary

Allegiant Manufacturing in Gallatin, Tennessee is seeking a Quality Technician to inspect stamped and fabricated metal parts and read engineering drawings. You will use calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and specialty gages while supporting internal audits and continuous improvement initiatives.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, with 2 years’ related experience preferred, and be proficient in reading blueprints.

Qualifications

• Read blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong mathematical and problem‑solving skills
• Excellent communication, organization, and attention to detail
• Experience with Microsoft Excel (Office)

Responsibilities

• Inspect stamped and fabricated metal parts
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and specs
• Use calipers, micrometers, height gauges and specialty gages
• Perform first‑piece inspections and dimensional layouts
• Support internal audits and continuous improvement initiatives
• Assist with calibration and maintenance of inspection equipment
• Maintain quality records and documentation
• Support customer quality requirements and PPAP activities
