Overview

Covert Manufacturing is looking for a CMM Quality Technician in Galion, OH. The CMM Operator responsibilities shall include but not limited to the following:

Responsibilities

• First piece approval
• Final inspections
• Operator CMM
• Assist in-process sheets
• Disposition of non-conforming material
• Setting gauges prior to use
• Perform duties as requested by the Quality Supervisor
• Properly use and read gauges
• Process audits
• Work overtime as needed

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year on-the-job training in a manufacturing facility
• Strong computer skills
• Self-motivated with good verbal skills
• General understanding of machining processes, basic blueprint reading, ISO 9001, IATF, ISO 14001
• Able to operate a forklift
• Fundamentals of mathematical calculations
