Job summary

American Axle & Mfg., Inc. seeks a Quality Tech to perform final and in-process inspection of tooling, components and prototype parts using CMMs and gauges.

You will program and operate Zeiss CMM with Calypso, read blueprints, verify dimensions and tolerances, and complete customer inspection reports. Preventive maintenance tasks should be performed as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma
• Five (5)+ years of experience working in precision manufacturing environment operating measuring equipment
• Experience with Zeiss CMM and Calypso software
• Experience with Microsoft office
