Job summary

Manpower, Inc. is recruiting a Quality Technician for our Brookshire, TX facility. You will support production and engineering by inspecting electro-mechanical parts, identifying defects, and driving containment and corrective actions.

The role demands precision, strong communication, and teamwork with the quality and manufacturing teams. The position operates on a first shift (5am-5pm) Thursday to Saturday, plus every other Wednesday.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate parts produced on various lines, including electro-mechanical components, welding, powder coating, and assembly.
• Flag suspect or nonconforming parts, support containment activities.
• Spot and Mig Welding.
• Guide production teams in proper disposition of parts as good for use, need repair, or scrap, and document defects accurately.
• Communicate quality issues to engineering and management, escalating unresolved concerns promptly.
• Develop and implement short- and long-term solutions to address quality problems while maintaining operational efficiency.

Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing electro-mechanical components and assemblies, is seeking a dedicated Quality Technician to join their team. As a Quality Technician, you will be part of the Quality Department supporting production and engineering teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, proactive problem-solving skills, and strong communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Quality Technician

Location: Brookshire, TX

Pay Range: $32hr

Shift:1st shift Thursday - Saturday and every other Wednesday
5am-5pm

What's the Job?

What's Needed?

• High level of attention to detail with the ability to quickly identify and differentiate defect types.
• Spot & Mig Welding or Soldering Experience
• Knowledge of measurement and inspection tools such as calipers, gauges, and torque wrenches is a plus.
• Experience with electro-mechanical components, welding, powder coating, or assembly processes is desirable.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to build effective relationships across teams.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including standing, walking, lifting up to 35 lbs., and working in varied environments.
