Responsibilities

• Provide daily coverage of production line processes for smooth operations.
• Collaborate with process engineers to develop assembly processes and train associates.
• Investigate and implement countermeasures to improve Cpk and yield.
• Conduct experiments and data analysis including DOE and GR&R with guidance.
• Lead disposition of non-conforming materials and escalate as needed.

Our client, a leading organization in manufacturing and mission-criticaloperations, is seeking a Manufacturing Process Technician to join their team. As a Manufacturing Process Technician, you will be part of the manufacturing support team, focusing on sustaining and optimizing mechanical and chemical processes to ensure product quality, efficiency, and safety. The ideal candidate will demonstrate problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: ManufacturingProcess Technician

Location:Brookshire, Texas (Houston)

Pay Range:$32/hr.

What's the Job?

• Provide daily coverage of production line processes for smooth operations, responding promptly to out-of-control processes to minimize costs and maximize productivity
• Work closely with process engineers to develop assembly processes and train associates on new or revised manufacturing instructions
• Investigate and implement countermeasures to enhance process capability index (Cpk) and product yield
• Conduct experiments and analyze data under the guidance of process engineers, including Design of Experiments (DOE) and Gauge Repeatability and Reproducibility (GR&R)
• Lead disposition of non-conformance materials produced by the production line, escalating issues to the Production Engineering team as necessary

What's Needed?

• Associate’s Degree in Electronics, Mechanical, or equivalent industrial/manufacturing experience
• Demonstrates adherence to EHS regulations and standards and leads by example
• Skilled in troubleshooting electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Proven ability to draw accurate conclusions from test data, malfunctions, or deviations, and assist with corrections to the existing process
• Skilled with the use of a variety of hand and portable tools
