The role requires attention to detail, accuracy, and adherence to work instructions across presses and bindery equipment. The position emphasizes duty on start-up procedures, keeping scrap records, performing line clearances, and collaborating with teams to ensure quality standards

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Perform start-up procedures per Work Instructions on printing presses, die-cutters, and gluers.
• Inspect finished products and retained materials; verify color and barcode-related checks.
• Audit line clearance, documentation, and CAPAs; prepare short-form reports as required.
• Inspect and test inbound materials; ensure conformance to specifications.
• Maintain records of scrap and nonconforming material; ensure proper segregation.

We're hiring a Quality Assurance Technician (also known as a Quality Technician, QA Technician, or Quality Control Technician) to support manufacturing operations.Job DescriptionWynalda Packaging is an industry-leading folding carton manufacturer serving global leaders across a wide range of industries.This individual would inspect products manufactured to ensure compliance with contract specifications by performing the following duties.We are looking for a 3rd shift Quality Assurance Technician.3rd shift - 10:30pm - 6:30am overtime as neededEssential Duties & ResponsibilitiesPerform and document \"start-up\" procedures per Work Instructions on:Printing presses, die-cutters and gluers (Graphic Drive)Printing presses and bindery equipment (Montana Trail)Perform testing on inbound raw materials.Make regular checks of retains throughout each job for each department.Verify proofs, sign-off sheets, and retains at the completion of each job.Inspect finished cut sizes of card, wraps, and books.Watch for mixed product.Inspect yellow marked material loads before die-cutting.Verify that the die-cutters are correctly separating yellow marked material.Keep yellow marked material separate from good materialInspect and verify color on customer samples.Perform testing on finished product.Check gluers for barcode readers and glue detectors.Inspect pulls and answer accordingly.Initiate sorting documents when required.Account for all scrap material and keep records.Audit workers and processes throughout entire company.Verify that everyone does line clearance between jobs.Check skid-tag to skid information before jobs are shipped.Perform milstandards on finished products.Complete shortage forms on any jobs less than count.Issue CAPARs.Other duties may be assigned.Position Requirements: Qualifications & CompetenciesTo perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:Comfort Performing Tedious Tasks- Able to perform repetitive tasks for long periods of time.Attendance - Shows up on time when scheduled.Conscientiousness- Strictly adheres to all company policies and procedures, complies with safety regulations.
