Job summary

HORIBA Instruments Inc. in Austin, TX seeks a Quality Technician to join our North American Semiconductor team. The role tests and evaluates instrumentation to ensure it meets specifications and qualifications.

You will perform inspections for product qualification and assist Cleanroom Operations in maintaining ISO quality standards. A High School Diploma and 2+ years QC experience are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as Quality Control Technician.
• Ability to use measuring tools and perform hand set-up required.
• Proficiency in basic computer skills including MS Office.

Responsibilities

Our North American Semiconductor group is searching for a Quality Technician in Austin, TX.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Under the general supervision of the Production Manager tests and evaluates instrumentation to verify that they meet published and approved specifications
• Perform inspection services for the qualification of product
• Assist Cleanroom Operations in overall adherence to ISO Quality Standards

Skills and Knowledge:

• High School Diploma
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as Quality Control Technician
• Ability to use measuring tools and perform hand set-up required
• Proficiency in basic computer skills including MS Office
