Job summary

HORIBA Instruments in Austin, TX is seeking a Quality Technician to join our North American Semiconductor group. The role involves testing instrumentation, inspection services, and ensuring compliance with ISO quality standards.

You will work under the supervision of the Production Manager, use measuring tools, and support device qualification and process monitoring. The position requires a high school diploma and at least two years of QC experience; MS Office skills are expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as Quality Control Technician.
• Ability to use measuring tools and perform hand set-up required.
• Proficiency in basic computer skills including MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Under the general supervision of the Production Manager tests and evaluates instrumentation to verify that they meet published and approved specifications.
• Perform inspection services for the qualification of product.
• Assist Cleanroom Operations in overall adherence to ISO Quality Standards.

Key Responsibilities include:
