Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 2 years of Quality Assurance testing experience in a client-server environment.
• At least 1 year of experience with Microsoft SQL databases, including writing and reading SQL queries.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Express Employment Professionals on 99th and Fort Street is currently recruiting for a Quality Tech to join a growing technology and gaming solutions company in Omaha, NE!

Position Details:

• Type: Full-Time
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, Day Shift
• Location: Omaha, NE
• Pay/Salary: Based on Experience

Job Summary:

The Quality Tech takes direction from the Quality Assurance Manager and works hands-on with engineering and product management teams to ensure feature development and enhancements to Lottery and Slot Gaming products meet high quality standards from both a business and functional perspective. This role also provides technical support by phone, email, and occasionally on-site, while participating in the On-Call rotation. The ideal candidate can work independently, manage multiple assignments, and perform software and hardware testing based on product requirements and testing objectives.

Job Duties:

• Perform exploratory, functional, system, reliability, and regression testing on products as assigned by the QA Manager.
• Execute hardware and software test scripts across multiple platforms.
• Install and configure Windows operating systems and Microsoft SQL Server environments.
• Troubleshoot software, hardware, infrastructure, and network-related issues.
• Collaborate with engineering and product management teams to identify, document, and resolve defects.
• Provide technical support to customers via phone, email, and occasional on-site visits.
• Participate in the On-Call support rotation.
• Maintain accurate testing documentation and communicate findings to key stakeholders.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year university or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of Quality Assurance testing experience in a client-server environment.
• At least 1 year of experience working with Microsoft SQL databases, including writing and reading SQL queries.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with Content Management Systems.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Server 2005 and 2008 environments.
• Background in gaming technology.
• Previous experience supporting customers in a professional environment.
• Experience working with Lottery and Slot Gaming products preferred.
