Ideal candidates will have experience with API testing, automated testing tools, and basic scripting, along with strong attention to detail and clear communication.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Experience troubleshooting devices such as peripherals and printers is a major plus.
  • Familiarity with QA testing processes and documentation is expected.

Responsibilities

  • Review Release and Deployment Tracking Sheet to identify work.
  • Check daily emails to verify releases and deployments are up to date.
  • Select top-priority items and begin testing.
  • Participate in daily standups with updates on workload and progress.
  • Run Jira queries to ensure queue items are up to date.
  • Submit Replicon timesheet for accurate hours reporting.
  • Maintain documentation for QA processes, test cases, results.
  • Refine testing procedures as tools and requirements evolve.
  • Assist new QA teammates with onboarding and tool navigation.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

The Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for ensuring the quality, accuracy, and functionality of software releases and deployments through thorough testing, documentation, and communication with project teams. This role supports continuous improvement by maintaining organized tracking systems and ensuring that all assigned work items are completed efficiently and to standard.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Review the Release and Deployment Tracking Sheet to identify work that needs to be completed.
  • Check emails daily to verify that all releases and deployments are up to date and accurately reflected on the tracking sheet.
  • Select the top-priority item from the tracking list and begin testing.
  • Participate in the daily standup meeting to provide updates on planned workload and current progress.
  • Run an Jira query to ensure there are no tickets in your queue that require updates or action.
  • Complete and submit the Replicon timesheet for the week to ensure accurate reporting of work hours and activities.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for QA processes, test cases, and results.
  • Update and refine testing procedures as tools, systems, and project requirements evolve.
  • Support new QA team members with onboarding, process overviews, and tool navigation.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Education and Experience

  • High School or GED
  • Experience troubleshooting devices — peripherals, printers, scanners, credit card readers, and connectivity issues — is a major plus.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to follow documented test cases, procedures, and work instructions
  • Strong attention to detail when executing tests and documenting results
  • Clear written communication skills for documenting defects and test findings
  • Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman)
  • Exposure to automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium or Playwright), including the ability to write and maintain automated tests
  • Exposure to performance, load, or stress testing tools (e.g., JMeter), including the ability to write and maintain those tests
  • Familiarity with basic programming or scripting concepts (e.g., C#)
  • Basic proficiency using Windows 10 or Windows 11
  • Comfortable using web-based and Windows-based business applications
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
  • Office setting with a moderate noise level.
  • The employee will work at an individual workstation, using a telephone and computer.


Physical Demands

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position for most of the day
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a printer/copy machine
  • This position needs to occasionally move about inside the office
  • The person in this position frequently communicates via Web Forms, Email, and MS Teams Calls & Chats
