Job summary

Sabrosura Foods, LLC is seeking a Quality Tech LV1 to perform quality audits on packaging lines and conduct laboratory testing of raw and finished products. The role supports good manufacturing practices and documentation to ensure products meet established quality standards.

The position involves sampling, data reporting, and environmental monitoring, with 2nd shift hours 3pm-11:30pm Monday through Thursday. A high school diploma and QA experience in food production are preferred.

Qualifications

• Quality assurance experience in a food production environment preferred.
• Specialized training in Food Technology or Laboratory Sciences is preferred.
• Must be able to read, write, and perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Possess organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality and packaging line checks.
• Operate laboratory equipment and conduct chemical analysis. Report data to supervisors.
• Verify product to master specifications.
• Maintain food safety program documentation.
• Gather samples from the dock and production floor.
• Support facility compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Conduct facility Pre-Op inspections and swabs for start-up.
• Communicate any food safety related issues to supervisor or managers.
• Prepare DMRs.
• Assist with other QA-related responsibilities as needed or assigned.
• Conduct environmental monitoring sampling.
