Job summary

MIDCON CABLES CO INC is seeking a QE Technician to support quality assurance activities in our facility. The role requires following instructions, working without direct supervision, and performing data compilation, audits, and inspections.

You will conduct root cause analysis with follow-up and identify opportunities for improvement, while assisting with training and CAR verification. The ideal candidate has strong electronics knowledge and familiarity with test lab equipment, and demonstrates

Job description

This position requires an individual that is a quick learner, possesses good people skills, and is willing to work overtime as needed.The QE Technician will be expected to be able to follow instructions and work without direct supervision. Experience in cable assembly, and the ability to read and interpret drawings and schematics or the ability to learn such skills are essential to this position.Compile data and prepare reports, complete product Audits/ Inspection. Root Cause analysis with follow-up. Identify opportunities for improvement. Assist with training, CAR follow-up verification and collecting objective evidence. Provide supervision and instruction to test lab technicians. The QE Technician must be knowledgeable of all equipment used to repair systems and a thorough knowledge of all practices in electronics field.
