Job summary

Dover Food Retail is seeking a Team Lead- Quality in Conyers, GA to oversee daily team activities and collaborate with the Quality Supervisor. The role focuses on safety, process adherence, and productivity improvements across manufacturing stages.

You will drive quality, supervise handoffs between shifts, and support training while maintaining visual floor communication and team engagement. Proficiency in safety, quality systems, and Lean basics is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedures.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide; apply basic algebra and geometry.
• Ability to solve practical problems and interpret written or schedule form instructions.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily activities of the work group under the Quality Supervisor guidance.
• Ensure team safety policies are followed and safety goals tracked.
• Maintain quality by following procedures and conducting inspections as required.
• Establish task times and monitor efficiency (mechanical, electrical, final walk).
• Support cross-functional teams and participate in production meetings.
• Provide on-the-job training and develop associates for continuous improvement.
