Job summary

Celestica Inc. is seeking a Team Leader, Operations Quality 1 to oversee quality inspection activities on a production line. You will review defects, drive corrective actions, verify issues with photos, and submit NCMRs to the MRB team.

You will plan shifts for Quality Support staff and generate daily/weekly quality performance reports. You will supervise and train Quality Support 1-3 personnel, monitor IQA output and backlog, and ensure 5S and housekeeping standards.

Qualifications

• Four to six years relevant experience.
• Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Review defects found by Quality Inspector and file corrective actions.
• Verify defects with photos and submit NCMR to MRB.
• Plan working hours and overtime for Quality Support 1-3.
• Generate daily/weekly quality performance reports (Z0LG, aging parts awaiting IQA).
• Provide supervision and training to Quality Support 1-3 staff.
• Monitor IQA daily output, backlog and aging queue; train IQA inspectors.
• Lead, coach and discipline Quality Inspectors; coordinate with other functions.
• Stop the line when needed and escalate quality incidents to the Manager.
• Prioritize incoming material for inspection to support production lines.
• Knowledge of IPC-A-610, ISO standards, sampling plans (AQL).
• Ability to communicate and coordinate with various functions.
