Killdeer Mountain Manufacturing, Inc. seeks a Quality Team Lead – Night Shift to steer on-floor QA and ensure builds meet customer expectations and aerospace standards.

You will coach inspectors, maintain documentation, and drive process improvements to protect profitability and delivery. You’ll interpret specs, manage FAI to AS9102, escalate issues, lead root-cause analyses, and collaborate with Production, Engineering, Program, and customers to keep quality at the highest level during night

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of a Quality Management System; detail-focused and calm under pressure.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook (Dynamics a plus) and accurate data entry.
• IPC-A-610 CIS within 6 months if applicable; flexible hours/overtime and solid attendance.

Responsibilities

• Interpret customer specs, drawings, and updates; keep requirements current
• Ensure First Article Inspection (FAI) completion to AS9102, including forms and records

Lead the Night Shift

Night-Shift Momentum

Your night starts at 3:00 PM in our Kerrville, TX facility, syncing with the team on priorities and any spec changes that could impact the shift. As production ramps, you’re the go-to voice for quick decisions, clear communication, and keeping documentation flowing. You’ll spend time at a workstation and on the floor, checking dashboards and reports, then pivoting to focused problem-solving when trends pop up. By late shift, you’re wrapping up notes for handoff, aligning on next steps, and setting the team up for a clean start tomorrow—then clocking out at 1:30 AM, Monday through Thursday.

Salary: $22.13 - $23.00 per hour
