Job summary

INNIO Group in Wisconsin seeks a Quality Leader for machining and assembly who will report to the Director of Quality. You will drive quality across the production value stream, applying Lean Six Sigma methods to achieve first-time quality and customer satisfaction.

You will lead PFMEA, Control Plans, and continuous improvement projects, mentor a team, manage budgets, and collaborate with engineering, operations, and suppliers to resolve issues quickly while safeguarding delivery schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent with 7 years in an industrial environment.
• Lean and Six Sigma with process-improvement experience.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 and IATF16949 quality systems.
• Green Belt in Six Sigma with Lean knowledge.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Experience with MTBF, FMEA, 8D, 5 Whys, etc.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop quality team in machining/assembly.
• Lead PFMEA and Control Plan development.
• Collaborate with product/engineering to apply corrective and preventive actions.
• Collaborate with supplier quality to avoid inbound defects.
• Support quality system development and process audits.
• Lead 8D problem solving for customer/internal issues.
• Lead Kaizen and CI projects.
• Develop and manage department budget.
• Collaborate with operations to resolve quality issues promptly and protect delivery dates.
