Job summary

INNIO in Wisconsin seeks a Director of Quality to drive quality in machining and assembly. You will lead improvement initiatives to ensure compliance with engineering specs across all production phases, applying Lean Six Sigma principles and strong leadership to mentor and develop the quality team for first-time quality and productivity gains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent; 7+ years in industrial quality roles.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt with strong problem-solving.
• Experience with ISO 9001 and IATF16949 quality systems.
• Proven leadership and mentoring ability.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality team in machining/assembly and drive improvements.
• Lead PFMEA & Control Plan development for robust processes.
• Collaborate with product/platform and manufacturing engineers to resolve field complaints with corrective actions.
• Coordinate with supplier quality management to protect the facility from supplier issues.
• Support quality system development and process audits across the plant.
• Lead 8D problem solving for customer complaints and internal non-conformances.
• Drive Kaizen projects to address manufacturing pain-points.
• Develop and maintain department budget for operating and capital expenditures.
• Work with operations leaders to solve quality issues while protecting delivery dates.
