Job summary

Associated Materials, a leader in exterior building products, seeks a Quality Team Lead at our NC plant. You will oversee daily quality activities, guide a production-focused team, and ensure products meet strict quality standards.

Responsibilities include training, process improvements, and collaboration with other departments to support production goals. The ideal candidate has 2–3 years in manufacturing as a lead, strong attention to detail, and reading measurements to 1/16 inch.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2–3 years in manufacturing/production as a Lead.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Strong understanding of production processes and QC standards.
• Read a tape measure to 1/16 inch.
• Clear communication; bilingual Spanish/English a plus.
• Detail-oriented and able to work independently.
• Value diversity and team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily quality activities to align with production.
• Assign tasks and manage workload to meet schedule.
• Provide feedback to team and production on quality.
• Lead by inspecting products and supporting production.
• Operate equipment following SOPs and quality standards.
• Adhere to safety regulations and conduct inspections.
• Inspect windows and equipment for defects.
• Communicate effectively with the team.
• Other duties as assigned.
