Jimmy's Gourmet Bakery in New Jersey is hiring a Quality Systems Technician to uphold food safety and product quality, support BRCGS certification, and keep us audit-ready across production, sanitation, maintenance, and warehouse teams.

Evening shift 3 PM–11 PM and overnight shift 11 PM–7 AM are available, with competitive pay, benefits, and opportunities for growth as you help ensure GMP compliance and CCP monitoring.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting audit readiness (BRCGS or similar)
• Organize and maintain Food Safety and Quality Systems records
• Conduct daily production checks for product consistency
• Monitor CCPs and Preventive Controls
• Collaborate with GMP-compliant cross-functional teams

• Organize, file, and maintain all records for Food Safety and Quality Systems
• Conduct daily production checks (color, shape, size, packaging)
• Monitor CCPs and Preventive Controls and report issues
• Support sanitation documentation and monitoring activities
• Collaborate across Production, Sanitation, Maintenance and Warehouse to ensure GMP compliance

Description

Join our growing team as a Quality Systems Technician. In this role, you’ll help maintain our company’s high standards of food safety and product quality. You’ll play a key part in supporting our BRCGS certification and ensuring we’re always audit-ready. This position works closely with Production, Sanitation, Maintenance, and Warehouse teams to ensure every product meets our commitment to safety and excellence.

We have an opening for the evening shift (3 PM - 11 PM) and overnight shift (11 PM - 7 AM)

Requirements

• Support audit preparation and documentation for BRCGS and third-party audits
• Organize, file, and maintain all Food Safety and Quality Systems records
• Conduct daily production checks to verify product consistency (color, shape, size, packaging, etc.)
• Monitor and verify Critical Control Points (CCPs) and Preventive Controls
• Report any quality issues promptly to the Quality Systems Supervisor
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
• Assist with sanitation documentation and monitoring activities
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Outlook
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A self-starter with a sense of urgency and commitment to quality
