Job summary

The Kraft Heinz Company is seeking a site Quality Assurance leader at the Kendallville Plant to supervise and advance the Quality Systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal standards. You will guide QA, production staff, and cross-functional teams in executing corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key duties include auditing program oversight, supplier and ingredient specs monitoring, and support for KHMS/ISO certifications.

Qualifications

• Education or relevant operational knowledge in Food Science or related fields.
• Experience with the Food & Beverage Industry, FDA, and USDA preferred.
• Proven history of quality or production policy implementation in manufacturing.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving orientation.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and prioritize.
• Experience with audits/regulatory inspections (USDA, FDA, Halal, Kosher).

Responsibilities

• Supervise the site QA and Production teams to meet program goals.
• Plan and direct the site auditing program for compliance with procedures and laws.
• Monitor Ingredient specs for accuracy and currency.
• Train and mentor staff on KHMS and quality procedures.
• Support audits and inspection readiness, inspections, and reports.
• Validate CCPs/OPRPs and maintain KPI/KHMS/ISO plans.
