Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, Food Science, or Microbiology preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of quality systems procedures and policies preferred.
• Self-managing and ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
• Microsoft Office suite proficiency required (Excel, Word, Access, Outlook).
• Ability to trouble-shoot and problem solve with risk assessment.

Responsibilities

• Provides informational input on quality issues, product attributes, and raw materials.
• Works with plant Operations to ascertain details surrounding Hold actions and quality issues.
• Initiates root cause failure analysis for holds and gathers pertinent information.
• Administers the plant hold and release process; manage non-conforming product in MATRICS and necessary reports.
• Daily to weekly inventories of non-conforming product; maintain QA documents and audits.
