Job summary

Boeing seeks motivated Quality professionals to support FAA conformity projects under a contract through a Boeing-approved third party. Roles involve planning, execution, and continuous improvement of conformity activities with cross-functional teams across Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supplier Quality.

Assignments may vary across programs, locations, and lifecycle phases, with responsibilities spanning documentation review, conformity inspections, evidence verification, and tracking

Qualifications

• Aerospace Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering, Inspection, Supplier Quality, or related experience.
• Knowledge of aerospace quality systems and regulatory requirements.
• FAA conformity, certification, or regulatory experience.
• Experience interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, work instructions, and quality records.
• Familiarity with First Article Inspection (FAI), nonconformance management, configuration control, corrective action, and/or inspection processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and effectively within a cross-functional team.
• Ability to learn and apply FAA requirements in a fast-paced project environment.
• Willingness to travel or temporarily relocate when required by the assignment.

Responsibilities

• Support FAA conformity planning and execution.
• Review engineering, manufacturing, inspection, and quality documentation for completeness and compliance.
• Support conformity inspections and associated documentation.
• Verify objective evidence is complete, accurate, and traceable.
• Identify documentation, process, and compliance gaps and support resolution.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supplier Quality, and program stakeholders.
• Support preparation for FAA and/or delegated-authority conformity activities.
• Track findings, actions, risks, and quality metrics through closure.
• Support process assessments and continuous-improvement initiatives.
• Capture and share lessons learned to strengthen organizational FAA conformity capability.

This posting is for a contract assignment and is not a full-time employment offer with Boeing. Candidates selected for roles will be employed as contract workers through a Boeing approved 3rd party for the duration of the specified project.

We are seeking motivated Quality professionals to support upcoming FAA Quality and Conformity projects. These assignments provide opportunities to work in highly regulated aerospace environments while expanding FAA conformity, compliance, and quality expertise.

Position Overview

Selected applicants will support the planning, execution, and continuous improvement of FAA conformity and quality activities. Team members will work cross-functionally with Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supplier Quality, and other program stakeholders to ensure products, documentation, and processes meet applicable FAA and company requirements.

Assignments may support different programs, locations, and phases of the product lifecycle based on business needs.

63 - 68 USD hourly
