- Shift: 1st shift M-F (onsite)
- Pay: ~$30/hr (direct hire/full time position)
Job Overview:
This position is responsible for ensuring the efficiency, accuracy, and standardization of advanced quality assurance techniques while demonstrating an understanding of the ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards. Primary focus is assisting in improving quality systems infrastructure and regulatory compliance.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in maintaining all Quality Assurance policies and procedures. This includes monitoring Quality Assurance compliance objective and procedures to ensure that targets are achieved.
- Actively participate in regulatory inspections, certification audits, and Internal Quality Audit programs.
- Support continuous improvement activities to enhance the Company’s Quality Management Systems.
- Actively engage in Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) activities.
- Coordinate and communicate customer feedback (scorecards) regarding Magnolia’s performance.
- Assist with the internal administrative cycle of processing Nonconformance Reports (NCRs).
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must have excellent computer skills including MS Office (i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.).
- Must be able to effectively interact and professionally communicate with ExESS/Lisam representatives to resolve discrepancies that occur in the software.
- Must be able to effectively partner with industry representatives to determine best practices for SDS compliance.
- Must have basic ISO9001 and AS9100 auditing experience.
- Functional knowledge of international transport regulations (DOT, IATA, IMDG) preferred. Inhouse training will be provided if needed.
- Must be willing and able to work in a team environment.
- Must be comfortable working in a laboratory environment.
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in related discipline
- Minimum 2-3 year of ISO9001 and AS9100 auditing experience preferred.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in regulatory compliance in chemical or related industry preferred.
- Minimum 1 years of Quality Assurance Management required.
- Chemical Manufacturing experience preferred.
