Job summary

H2O Innovation in Ramsey, Minnesota seeks a Quality Manager to lead supplier quality systems and drive improvements across manufacturing and field services. You will partner with engineering, sourcing, operations, and service teams to deliver reliable quality and cost-effective performance.

Responsibilities include implementing robust inspection processes, NCR and corrective actions, and building scalable quality systems aligned with ISO 9001 as the division grows.

Qualifications

• Strong background in supplier quality engineering and supplier performance management.
• Experience building or improving quality systems in industrial manufacturing or engineered-product environments.
• Demonstrated experience implementing ISO 9001 systems; first-time certification is preferred.
• Ability to work effectively across operations, engineering, projects and service teams.
• Engineering degree preferred or equivalent technical education/experience.
• Hands-on leader who works directly with teams and processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of supplier quality systems and monitor supplier performance to drive improvements in quality, reliability, and delivery.
• Partner with engineering, sourcing, and operations to reduce supplier-related issues impacting cost and margin and establish clear supplier quality expectations.
• Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Projects, Service, Operations, and Supply Chain to integrate quality across the full product and service lifecycle.
• Develop and improve inspection systems at product and manufacturing process levels and support quality standards for field service activities.
• Strengthen non-conformance reporting (NCR) and corrective action processes by leading root cause analysis and implementing sustainable solutions.
• Identify quality system risks and implement proactive mitigation strategies to improve consistency and performance.
• Build and maintain scalable quality systems aligned with divisional needs while collaborating with Corporate Quality to ensure alignment with global standards and best practices.
• Lead the division’s preparation toward ISO 9001 certification after establishing strong foundational quality systems.
• Document, standardize, and improve processes that create measurable operational value and support growth across multiple sites.
