Job summary

Dober is seeking a Quality Manager in Chicago to lead a proactive, data-driven quality culture. You will design quality into processes, strengthen ISO compliance, and drive continuous improvement across supplier quality, audits, and built-in process controls.

You will partner with cross-functional teams to ensure operational excellence, real-time data visibility, and zero-defect design, while maintaining regulatory readiness in FDA-regulated contexts.

Qualifications

• Experience with SPC and data analysis is required.
• Strong root cause analysis skills (5-Why, Fishbone, etc.).
• ISO 9001 experience or knowledge is required.
• Chemical experience/background is required.
• Audit leadership (internal & external) is required.
• Process validation and test method development are required.
• Lean principles and waste elimination are essential.
• Cross-functional collaboration is essential.
• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or biology is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve the ISO-compliant QMS.
• Lead internal and customer audits; ensure corrective actions closures.
• Bridge customer requirements in FDA-regulated environments.
• Integrate built-in quality and process controls across operations.
• Conduct supplier quality management and supplier audits.
• Lead data-driven problem solving and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure documentation integrity and change control compliance.
• Foster ownership and accountability for quality across teams.
