Job summary

DO & CO AG in Illinois seeks an experienced Food Safety & Quality Assurance Manager to lead our facility's food safety, hygiene programs, and regulatory compliance. The role drives continuous improvement in food integrity and product quality, collaborating with multiple departments to implement best practices.

The ideal candidate brings HACCP/ISO/SQF knowledge, a PCQI credential, and a proactive, team-oriented approach to uphold the highest standards in food safety.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of Hygiene and Quality Assurance experience in a food manufacturing site.
• Deep knowledge of HACCP, ISO, SQF and related food safety systems.
• Food Safety Certification; state-specific if applicable.
• PCQI – Preventative Control Qualified Individual.

Responsibilities

• Ensure full compliance with Do & Co, industry, and regulatory food safety and product integrity standards.
• Lead and manage facility audits, inspections, and consultations for operational compliance.
• Maintain accurate and current food safety documentation, logs, and regulatory paperwork.
• Monitor integrated food safety and quality programs across all products.
• Conduct supplier assessments and audits to uphold safety standards.
• Collaborate with department managers to implement new products and practices.
• Investigate customer and internal complaints, ensuring corrective actions are documented.
• Oversee sanitation standards, pest control, chemical usage, and regulatory readiness.
• Lead hygiene training programs, including new hire orientation and retraining.
