Job summary

The Willamette Valley Company, LLC in Pineville, LA is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to establish, maintain, and continuously improve the quality system and productivity in collaboration with all managers. The role ensures the highest quality products, drives process upgrades, and minimizes waste and costs.

Responsibilities include leading the quality system, supervising QC staff, setting testing protocols, addressing technical inquiries, and coordinating with EPI and WVCO management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or a related science.
• Minimum of 2 years of product formulation experience.
• Training in Quality System management.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in leading a QualitySystem construction and/or maintenance effort at a chemical manufacturing plant.

Responsibilities

• Drive, maintain and continuously improve the Quality System
• In conjunction with all Managers/Supervisors look for ways to increase productivity
• Supervisor Quality Control Associate and QC Tech
• Assist with problem solving as needed, or as requested by supervision.
• Establish testing protocols and define reference materials for that testing that can be performed under contract. Manage external testing to ensure that the data needed is the data obtained.
• Answer technical service questions from customers and Sales personnel as needed.
• Communicate regularly with EPI and Willamette Valley Company (WVCO) management.
• Conduct presentations and seminars as needed to inform and educate other employees, or as requested by management.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as requested by supervisor
