Job summary

Multimatic is seeking a quality/department leader in Lewisburg, Tennessee. He/she will coordinate PPAP for new products, direct quality staff to maintain production quality, and liaison with customers and plant departments to ensure issue resolution.

The role emphasizes adherence to ISO 9001 / IATF 16949, health and safety, and continuous improvement through Kaizen activities and GEAR projects.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with staff and other departments to meet PPAP requirements for new product introductions.
• Direct quality personnel to monitor production and maintain required quality levels.
• Assist in dispositioning quarantined goods to minimize inventory.
• Keep management informed of quality issues and liaise with plant departments and customers.
• Monitor scrap, rework, customer rejections and returns.
• Issue customer/concern reports to the MDS team for open issues.
• Stop non-conforming processes and alert area supervisors.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 and customer requirements.
• Enforce health and safety rules and address audit findings.
