Job summary
Louisiana-Pacific Corporation, Green Bay, seeks a Manager, Plant Quality I to oversee the plant quality program, lead the quality department, and drive safety, supervision, and training. You will develop and execute strategic quality goals, manage calibration of lab equipment, implement SPC and quality systems, and partner with plant leadership to achieve process improvements.
The role requires at least 3 years QA in manufacturing and 2 years in supervision, a Bachelor's in a relevant field, and
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years quality experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Minimum 2 years in a lead or supervisory role.
- Demonstrated experience implementing SPC, quality management systems, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Lead the plant quality department including scheduling, coaching, training, and testing of lab samples.
- Ensure compliance with internal specifications, certifying agency guidelines, and corporate quality policies.
- Develop and execute plant quality systems and calibration of lab equipment.
- Drive Lean Six Sigma initiatives and plant-wide process improvements.
