Job summary

Genuine Search Group seeks an experienced Quality Manager to lead the quality department at our Chicago manufacturing facility. This hands-on leader will build quality systems, SOPs, and QMS from the ground up while coaching a multi-shift team on the plant floor.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in industrial manufacturing quality management, strong ISO 9001 knowledge, and a proven record in CAPA, NCR, and quality documentation development.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of quality management experience in industrial manufacturing.
• Proven ability to create quality documentation and workflows from scratch.
• Experience leading multi-shift teams and coaching for performance.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain quality systems, SOPs, and QMS.
• Direct, mentor, and evaluate quality engineers, inspectors, and technicians.
• Embed quality procedures into daily operations with minimal disruption.
• Drive ISO 9001 compliance and manage internal and external audits.
• Oversee NCR, CAPA programs using 8D, 5-Why, and Fishbone methods.
• Manage supplier and customer quality inquiries and field investigations.
