Job summary

New Eagle LLC seeks a Quality Manager to own and operate the site QMS for engineering and production, ensuring conformity and continuous improvement. You will lead audits, maintain documentation, manage nonconformances, CAPA, and supplier/customer quality activities on site in Ann Arbor, MI.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Program Management, Procurement and Operations to verify requirements and readiness for registrar audits, while driving improvements through lean and Six Sigma methods

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality, or related discipline.
• Three+ years of quality assurance experience in automotive/manufacturing/engineering services.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and familiarity with IATF 16949.
• Experience with automotive core tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, control plans).
• Ability to lead structured root-cause analysis and corrective actions through closure.
• Internal audit planning, execution, reporting and follow-up.

Responsibilities

• Owns and maintains the site QMS across engineering and production.
• Plan, schedule, and conduct internal audits against ISO 9001 and IATF 16949.
• Coordinate external audits including registrar surveillance and customer audits.
• Administer nonconformance, containment, and CAPA processes.
• Support APQP/PPAP activities and PFMEA, MSA, control plans, and SPC.
• Manage supplier quality activities and customer quality interfaces.
• Prepare quality performance reporting for management review.
• Develop QMS training and awareness, maintain training records.
